With more than 20 years behind him, Gulab's specialty is matrimonial and family law. He has considerable experience in all aspects of this area of practice including dealing with pre and post nuptial agreements, separation agreements, family settlements, contested and uncontested divorce matters, annulments, mediations, applications for maintenance for spouses and children and personal protection orders, custody of children, division of matrimonial assets and conducting trials/hearings in the Family Justice Courts and the High Court, amongst other matters. Gulab prefers to deal with divorces in a holistic manner, working out issues through dialogue in a mediation setting, as his first option before considering other options, believing that this is the way to help parties move forward quickly, minimising the emotional trauma that comes with marital breakdowns. Gulab was called to the Singapore Bar in 1994 and is a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public. He is also a Barrister At Law, Middle Temple, UK. He was named as a leading lawyer in Doyles Guide for Family & Divorce Lawyers 2015.
