About Me
Nicholas was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017. He graduated with a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the Singapore Management University in 2016 and he also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (2nd Class (Upper) Honours) from the National University of Singapore, majoring in both Sociology and Social Work. In his final year in law school, he was awarded the Harry Elias Partnership LLP Prize for the Top Student in Negotiation and Mediation. Nicholas practises litigation work in a wide variety of areas including civil and commercial disputes, construction disputes, tenancy matters, moneylenders' actions, tort law, contentious divorce and other matrimonial proceedings under the Women's Charter. Nicholas, who meticulously pays close attention to detail, has experience drafting contracts for commercial ventures and partnerships, as well as franchises. He also drafts wills and other legal documents. Nicholas takes an interest in small businesses and is available to advise on business owners' rights under the Companies Act, as well as assist in various company-related matters. He also has a special interest in social justice issues such as access to justice and the constitutional rights of citizens. Outside of the office and courtroom, Nicholas is an experienced classical organist with both local and international concert performance experience. He regularly plays the pipe organ for weddings, services and choral concerts.
