   About Me

Often spotted around town in a smart suit, Samuel adopts a similarly tailored approach to legal practice: the solution must be bespoke, the finishing neat, and the overall process pleasant for the user. ----------------------------- Samuel works closely with leading practitioners and alongside international counsel in both contentious and non-contentious aspects of the distress practice, frequently acting for companies, creditors, financial institutions, banks, white knights and/or insolvency professionals, in domestic as well as cross-border insolvencies and restructurings, both in and out of Court. A keen supporter of local SMEs, Samuel also maintains an active portfolio of clients comprising Singapore start-ups and second- and third-generation family-owned businesses across various industries, advising on matters such as employment issues, product distribution, corporate structures, etc. ----------------------------- Samuel graduated amongst the top of his class from the Singapore Management University where he was an inaugural recipient of the Kwa Geok Choo Undergraduate Scholarship and was placed on the Dean's List yearly, winning a slew of top as well as law subject prizes along the way. He was also ranked in the top few positions in the Singapore Bar Examinations for his year. Apart from legal practice, Samuel serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Singapore Management University School of Law. Samuel has also been appointed as a facilitator for the Insolvency Law and Practice module of the Preparatory Course leading to Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations.
