Viviene is an experienced advocate and has represented and defended clients in all areas of civil litigation with a primary focus in insurance and family law. She has represented insurance companies as well as personal claimants on claims and recoveries in relation to fatal accidents, personal injury and property damage, industrial accidents and workmen’s compensation. Throughout her 20 years of practice, Viviene has set several benchmarks for damages awarded in personal injury cases. She has also handled a broad spectrum of cases ranging from amicable divorces to complex and contentious matters involving the division of matrimonial assets, custody and maintenance, at all levels of the Singapore Court hierarchy. Her aim is to help simplify legal processes and ensure that everyone receives good quality legal advice. Viviene is also an Accredited Mediator and Arbitrator. She was recently appointed as a fellow with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and as a Senior Mediator in the Law Society Mediation Scheme. In addition to this, she is an Associate Mediator with the State Courts and Singapore Mediation Centre, an Assigned Solicitor with the Legal Aid Bureau and a Primary Justice Lawyer with The Community Justice Centre.
